Description: Design of closed Yucca Pods the entire height of the vase; covered in a beautiful soft green glaze. Bottom markings include the incised Double-A, Van Briggle, date of 1906; as well as the impressed Design #139, partially obscured. There is also a “3” within a circle; we have no definite record of the person who used that finisher mark.

Description: Tall vase with closed pod yucca design; covered in Mountain Crag Brown glaze. Bottom markings include inscribed Double-A, Van Briggle, Colo. Spgs.; on a gritty, sandy clay indicative of the 1920s production period.
Dimensions: 14″ height, 5 1/2″ width
Other: Mountain Crag Brown glaze advertised in the early VBPCo literature as containing the “browns and greens found in a mountain crag.”
