Description: Stylized leaves running the length of the vase. Multi-colored glaze showing dark green on the vase as well as coating the bottom. Light over sprays of lighter green, red and yellow. A striking example of a multi-colored glaze! Bottom markings include the Double-A and date of 1904. Impressed Design #174 on the left edge. Roman Numeral V indicates the type of clay.
Dimensions: 12″ height
Other: The majority of designs from 1900 until his death on 7-4-1904, were created by Artus Van Briggle. The last design credited to him was Design #247; so it is very likely that he was the overseer in the making of this extraordinary example!
