Description: The vase has vertical stem lines & six spade-shaped flowers encircling the top of the vase. The glaze has a leathery effect in rose color, and a complementary over spray glaze on the leaves. The bottom markings include the incised Double-A, Van Briggle, date of 1905 and Roman Numeral VX, indicating clay type; all in the handwriting attributed to Artus Van Briggle; as well as an incised Design #39.
