I have a piece of this design in semi-glossy Ming Blue glaze with a darker blue overglaze The bottom appears to have been heavily ground. The marks are only the VB logo and the date, which could be 1919, 1917 or 1911 (the top of the last digit is not clear). I would like to know the date of introduction of this design.
Design #685 was first created in 1907/08 by Martha Patton; according to the original files from VBPCo.
