A great example of #730, originally designed by Anne Gregory Van Briggle in 1907/08. This example is 5 1/4″ height, and is inscribed in the handwriting often attributed to Ned Curtis, the pottery manager. Shape #730 is inscribed at the top and 1915 date at the bottom. Description:  Design of stylized leaves encircling the bulbous bottom half of the vase; covered in a mulberry glaze.  Bottom markings include inscribed Double-A and date of 1918, with streaked glaze covering the base.
