Description: Striking cobalt blue glaze over the vase. Bottom markings include the Double-A, Van Briggle, date of 1902, and Roman Numeral indicating clay type, all in the handwriting attributed to Artus Van Briggle. Design #88 is impressed, as well as a tiny square.

Other: Artus depressed the center of the base on some of his earlier pots, leaving an outside circular ridge, as shown here.
